Dear legal cannabis producers, we are pleased and proud to present the 3rd edition of the Platinum CBD Cup to elect, in each category, the best product of the 2024 season.
As last year, your products will be tasted and rated by a jury selected from among Cannabis professionals and CBD-loving individuals. The products will be packaged by us and submitted anonymously to the members of the jury. The results will be announced at the end of April 2025 at the Cann'Agri expo 2025.
New for 2025, the Platinum CBD Cup opens up to Europe.
Registration

The registration deadline is midnight Monday, January 6, 2025.
Registration is considered valid if the form has been sent and the registration fee has been paid into the Platinum CBD Cup association's account. Once online registration has been completed, the present conditions of participation are deemed to have been accepted.
Entry fees
The registration fee is €150 for 1 category. For each additional category, the fee is €50. Payment must be made before January 6, 2025 via the following link (preferred):
Entry conditions
Each grower may enter only one product in each category, but registration for several categories is possible.
The flowers presented MUST be grown by the participant, in the country of participation, not washed and not terpenized.
Hash must IMPERATIVELY be made from trichomes, any addition of distillate and/or terpene is forbidden, only rosin additions are accepted but must be mentioned.
Each product must be accompanied by a cannabinoid analysis.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.
Shipping conditions
Each grower is free to choose his or her own packaging.
We ask each participant to calibrate his flowers between 0.9gr and 1.2gr and for hash 0.5gr.
Don't forget to include your analyses and a note so we know who owns the coli.
Imperative: shipment with tracking number (for traceability purposes) & insurance.

Categories
The Platinum CBD Cup 2025 is divided into 8 categories:
- Outdoor Flowers
- Greenhouse Flowers
- Indoor Flowers
- Dry Hash
- Ice O Lator Hash
- Honey
- Chocolates
- Gummies / Sweets
We will open each category from 5 participants and we reserve the right to regroup the sub-categories of Hash and Edible if the 5 participants are not present.

Products
For each category selected, the participating grower undertakes to supply the Platinum CBD association free of charge:
- 180g of flowers (Buds between 0.9gr & 1.2gr),
- 40g of Hash (cut into 0.5g portions),
- 180 units of edibles
If a product in a category is not selected to take part in the Platinum CBD Cup, all the products in that category will be returned to the producer, less the quantity required by the jury for pre-selection (+/- 5% of the initial quantity). The return will be made by parcel post with tracking number.
For the Flower categories, each participant undertakes to communicate the name of the variety grown and the breeder (which will not be divulged) as well as the trade name under which you want us to communicate.
For the Hash category, each participant undertakes to communicate the name of the variety(ies) used and the breeder (which will not be divulged), the extraction method (ice-o-lator, pollinator,... and the mesh used) and the manufacturing process (pure resin, assembly).
For the Edibles category, each participant undertakes to communicate the list of ingredients used, as well as the variety(ies) used.
Pro Jury
The jury is selected from among CBD professionals. Each member of the jury receives a pack containing all the products anonymized by category. They agree to test the different products according to an evaluation grid previously drawn up by the Platinum CBD association, focusing on appearance, smell and taste.
Voting takes place after receipt of the pack, according to the tasting method preferred by each member of the jury. However, the Platinum CBD association recommends vaporization rather than combustion. Results will be announced at the awards ceremony.
Public Jury
This year, the public can purchase a jury pack containing all the products anonymized by category. It will be on sale online and in stores.
Each member of the public jury undertakes to test the different products according to an evaluation grid previously established by the Platinum CBD association, covering appearance, smell and taste.
Voting takes place via an online document, after receipt of the pack, according to the person's preferred method of tasting. However, the Platinum CBD association recommends vaporization rather than combustion. Results will be announced at the awards ceremony.
Fairness
The Platinum CBD association ensures fair competition. The jury receives a pack of products anonymized and packaged by members of the association. Only a limited number of people (2) have access to the anonymization file.
Rewards and prizes
All participating producers are entitled to :
- 1 jury pack containing all anonymized products in the category(ies) presented.
- Presence as a participant on the Platinum CBD association's social networks, after receiving the competition results internally.
For the Pro Jury prize, winners receive :

From the 4th place, the ranking list will not be published.
Label
This year, each product is eligible for the Platinum CBD label, which rewards production quality. Based on the Public jury's ratings, an average out of 20 is calculated for each product.
If the average is between 13 and 15, the product receives the Platinum CBD “bronze” label.
If the average is between 15 and 17, the product will receive the Platinum CBD “silver” label.
If the average is over 17, the product will be awarded the Platinum CBD “Gold” label.
